Description
Dr Stephen Harlamb completed his BDS from the University of Sydney in 1986. After 7 years in general practice he obtained his MDSc in Endodontics from the University of Melbourne in 1995 and has been in specialist practice at Inner West Endodontics in Burwood, Sydney ever since.
Stephen also holds a Master of Health Law from the University of Sydney, is past Secretary and President of the Australian Society of Endodontology (NSW), a reviewer for the Australian Endodontic Journal and Dental Traumatology and has lectured extensively in areas such as traumatology, endodontic success and failure and dento-legal issues.
Stephen is a Councillor of the ADA (NSW), a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) in the Special Field of Endodontics as well as the International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT) and has also been involved in forensic dentistry and victim identification. Stephen is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists and is on the organising committee and co-chair of the scientific committee for the 16th World Congress on Traumatology to be held in 2016.
He has been a Peer Advisor for the ADA (NSW) defence team (DDAS), providing medico-legal advice to dentists following a complaint and also served as a Professional Officer and Investigator for the Dental Council of NSW and Accreditation Assessor for the Australian Dental Council. He has been awarded honorary fellowships to both the International College of Dentistry and the Pierre Fauchard Academy in recognition for his services to dentistry for over 25 years.
