Australia’s population is diverse, and that diversity carries through our lives. Indeed, diversity may increase as we age, and our needs and capabilities change. The conversation will cover specific issues including dementia care, discrimination on the basis of gender or sexual orientation, culturally appropriate care, and care in the context of growing inequality, poverty and homelessness.

Moderator: Peter Mares, Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership

Panellists:

Mary Patetsos, Chairperson, Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA)
Nicky Bath, Executive Director, National LGBTI Health Alliance
