Endodontic procedural problems are an unplanned and unwanted occurrence in day-to-day clinical practice. Mishaps can be frustrating for both practitioner and patient, and may have detrimental effects on treatment outcome. This presentation will describe different types of endodontic mishaps, how to recognise them, how to manage them, how they impact prognosis, and how to avoid them.

Learning Outcomes:

How and why a complication can affect prognosis.
