There are a number of significant toxicities that may occur as a result of radiotherapy to the head and neck region. Some of these side effects will be permanent, and can have a devastating impact on a patient’s quality of life.

This presentation will endeavor to discuss the role of OHT/DT/DH within dental oncology, with a particular focus on the prevention and management of oral radiation-induced side effects.
