This presentation will outline presenting features of both oral mucosal disease and chronic oro-facial pain. In particular common oral conditions that should be managed in a general dental setting, as well as important factors that should prompt for referral for Specialists care will be presented. The level of urgency and some methods to help discuss the need and importance for referral will be discussed.
