Implant dentistry in the Maxillary anterior aesthetic zone is considerably more challenging than other regions. Additionally, when multiple anterior teeth are missing, bone deficiencies and/or complications are encountered, management of the soft-tissue profiles becomes exponentially difficult. The purpose of this presentation is to discuss realistic expectations of dental implant hard and soft tissue management and when to use prosthetic equivalents.

Learning Outcomes:

Have an improved understanding of clinical challenges in compromised Maxillary aesthetic regions.

Discuss alternate treatment planning concepts and prosthetic design.

Understand when soft tissue manipulation is indicated and appropriate techniques.

Discuss prosthetic soft-tissue equivalents.
